Success stories

Ruby/Paisley came from the Longmeadow area and wound up in New Jersey.

Max the mighty hunter is in Simsbury.

Sadie was with us only a few days before she found a new home. She bloomed in that short time.

Lady was saved by the Falls Village Animal Hospital and found a home in 3 days.

Scout (1) had a couple of homes and is now the happy companion of 2 other grey ones.

Marley joined a Wallingford home from a loving home that could no longer care for her.

Scout (2) was fostered by one of our volunteer families; however, a short time later friends of the original family decided to adopt him. He is now a Maine resident.

Blue has been a little difficult, but after some training by a foster home, he was adopted through our assistance.

Lucy & George came from a loving home that could no longer care for them. Lucy found a home in the beautiful Berkshires; George took a longer trip to Virginia.

Alex’s owner called us while we were traveling to have us take him in 15 minutes; after a few hours we were able find a drop-off home. He was young, good looking and very friendly. He was with our foster home for a few days and found a new home on the Cape.

Zahra came to a home in CT from NYC. She needed company that neither the NYC home nor the West Hartford home could provide. She is now happy in northern Mass with a home that meets her needs.

Gunther was found in the streets of East Granby/Suffield. He was thin, full of worms. The Suffield Vet. Hospital treated him, the Suffield Animal Shelter housed him for a week and contacted us. We put him into our foster home and found a new home for him in a week.

Jaxon was a happy puppy until his owner went to school. We took him in, he was neutered and went to to a home in RI.
